Marianna Feketéné Balogh, Bibliothekarin am Institut für Germanisitk an der Universität Debrecen in Ungarn, machte sich in Heidelberg, Freiburg und Stuttgart auf die Suche nach Ansätzen, mit welchen sie ihre eigene Bibliothek bereichern könnte. Um möglichst verschiedene Eindrücke zu bekommen, suchte sie sich explizit drei verschiedene Arten von Bibliotheken aus: die Bibliothek einer pädagogischen Hochschule, die Bibliothek einer Universität und die Bibliothek einer staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste.

Almoataz Gad Elkarim of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) traveled to Berlin to participate and hold a presentation at the 114th BiblioCon 2026 in Berlin. Following the stay, this report highlights key takeaways and impressions of the conference.

Svjetlana Đelić, Šejla Džidić, Vasilije Milnović and Bojan Kundačina came from Serbia to Berlin to explore contemporary global trends and innovative solutions in the field of international librarianship. Their findings are summarized in their recent report.

Ms. Hend Elshennawy and Ms. Marwa Elgharabawy from the Library of Alexandria visited the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Berlin State Library) and the Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin (ZLB – Central and State Library of Berlin). In September 2025 Suciu Marian visited the Hamburg Public Library (Bücherhallen Hamburg), Hilden City Library (Stadtbibliothek Hilden), Dortmund City and State Library (Stadt- und Landesbibliothek Dortmund) and the Melle City Library (Stadtbibliothek Melle) in Germany. In his report, he compares them and looks at the strengths each of them has.

Rabab Shaker Bedeir traveled to Bremen to participate in the 113ᵗʰ BiblioCon (9ᵗʰ Bibliothekskongress) and present the outcomes of a project shaped by insights he gained during a previous professional visit to Germany. In his report, he briefly recounts his impressions of the conference, his presentation and what he could take away this time.
